Midge Grunstra was born in Pittsburgh, Pa and attended St Justin’s High School. Midge married and had two boys, Dean and David. While raising a family, Midge attended college. She started in Hayward, California and completed her degree in Speech Pathology at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. After graduation, Midge secured a position as a Speech Therapist in a public school system and went on to complete a master’s degree at Montclair State University, in Montclair NJ. while teaching and raising a family.
Midge moved to Ocean City, NJ in 1982, continued her career in Speech Therapy and began to build a career in Real Estate on a part time basis. In 1990 Midge earned her Brokers License and ran a small office in Ocean City for several years. In 1998, when Goldcoast Realty opened the doors, Midge was at her desk where she continues to reside doing sales and rentals on a full time basis.
Midge is an active member of the Ocean City Board of Realtors, chairing several committees through the years. She was President of the Board of Realtors in 2003 having come up through the chairs. Currently, Midge is the Region 5 Educational Chairperson for the New Jersey Board of Realtors, organizing educational forums for all of Cape May, Atlantic and Cumberland County realtors.
Midge has been a member of the Circle of Excellence each year of her career. In 1995 and 1999, Midge was named Realtor Associate of the Year, and in 2004 named Realtor of the Year. She is knowledgeable, patient and understands the needs and wants of her clients.
